Installation Problems

"App not installed" on Android. This message almost always means one of three things: an older Kisskh build is already on the device and conflicting with the new one, the device is low on storage, or the APK file didn't finish downloading. Uninstall any previous copy, free up space, then re-download the file from our download page and try again.

"Installation blocked" or "Unsafe app" warning. Android shows this by default for any app installed outside the Play Store. Go to Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps, select the browser or file manager you used to download the APK, and allow it.

The APK download won't start. Try the mirror link on the download page — if the primary host is briefly slow or blocked by a network filter, the MediaFire mirror usually still works.

iOS installation gets stuck. Re-watch the iOS setup video closely — a missed step in trusting the configuration profile is the most common cause. Make sure you're following the walkthrough in order rather than skipping ahead.

Playback & Buffering

Video keeps buffering. Lower the resolution from the quality menu in the player — 480p or 720p is far more forgiving on unstable connections than the highest setting. If you're on Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data (or the reverse) to rule out a local network issue.

Episode won't load at all. Close and reopen the app, then try a different episode of the same series. If only one specific episode fails, it may still be processing on the source server — check back in a few hours.

Playback stutters on TV but not on phone. This is typically a Wi-Fi signal issue rather than an app problem. Move the TV device closer to the router, or connect it with an Ethernet adapter if one is available.

Subtitle Problems

My language isn't listed. Not every episode ships with every subtitle language on day one. Open the captions icon in the player to see what's currently available for that specific episode, and check again after the next update.

Subtitles are out of sync. This can happen when a source video is later replaced with a slightly different cut. Reloading the episode usually pulls the corrected timing; if it persists, let us know through the contact page with the episode name.

Account & Login

Favorites or watch history disappeared. These are tied to your signed-in account, not the device. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you used originally — reinstalling the app without signing back in creates a fresh, empty profile.

Can't sign in at all. Double-check your credentials, confirm you have a working internet connection, and try again after a few minutes in case the sign-in service is briefly busy.

TV & Downloader Errors

Downloader says "Unable to connect to server." Confirm the APK link was pasted completely and correctly, and that your TV device is connected to the internet. See our TV installation guide for the exact link to use.

CloudStream doesn't show the Kisskh source after adding it. Restart the CloudStream app after adding the repository — new sources sometimes don't appear in the catalog list until the app is relaunched.

Nothing above solved it? Reach out through our Contact page with your device model and a short description of what's happening — that's usually enough for us to point you in the right direction.
